Greetings Anderson Community,
I am excited to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year! This year likely has you wondering how learning will happen during these unprecedented times. With many unknowns, question marks, and new experiences, I want to assure you that we continue to remain focused on relationships, learning, and a positive school community.
Anderson Elementary is committed to student learning through positive student/teacher interaction, engaging content, and out of the box thinking; such as, arts based learning. These experiences are especially important during our Shelter In Place home learning model. We will continue to utilize our SEAL and Project Based Learning modules; as well as new and unique opportunities to explore concepts through life experiences, home resources, and online curriculum. Prepare to have your kids engage with their environment, utilize games, kitchens, and sidewalks, as we explore learning in new and exciting ways; exploring our homes as extended classrooms!
We are excited to embark on this adventure with you and chart paths that have not yet been discovered. Maintaining our focus on Equity and Rigor, we know there are even more opportunities in the 4 Cs (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking) to uncover, and to celebrate, the unique and special qualities in each and every one of our students.
Don’t forget to activate your Parent Square Account and join our Facebook Community (Anderson Bulldogs) to keep up with our latest news and information!
I look forward to connecting with you.
